Tony Parrish of N. Myrtle Beach, SC started the
2008 season on the Grand Strand Golf Tour where he left off in 2007 by adding
another win. Tony was the only player in the field this week to manage both
rounds under par. Tony's two day total of 136,
6 under par, was 7 shots better than the
field. Tony receives this weeks winner's check of $1800.
THE GSGT CONGRATULATES TONY ON A GREAT START IN 2008
Zach Atkinson of New Zion, SC started the 2nd
round three shots out of the money and 8 shots out of the lead. Firing the low
round of the tournament with a -5 under
66, Zach moved up 9 spots into 2nd place with a
two day +1 over 143 total. Zach earned not only the 2nd Place
check of $1000 but also took and additional $320 for the Out-of-Money Pool.

Rocky Rockett of Gastonia, SC take 3rd place at
-2 over 144. Rocky receives $800 for his finish in the event.
FIVE Players were tied for 4th Place at +3 over par 145. Each
of the following players will split the 4th and 5th place money to receive
