2010 MATCH PLAY RESULTS @ River Hills GC
July 26-27

CONGRATULATIONS SAM LYONS
After a great week of golf for the Grand Strand Pro Golf Tour, Sam Lyons of Little River, SC was victorious over Mark Silvers in the final match with a 4&2 win. Lyons received $3500 for his victory. Lyons also tied Bradley for low medalist in the Seeding round on Monday but came out on top in the score card playoff. Lyons and Bradley both received $250 but more importantly, Sam received the first round bye.
Mark Silvers took away $2000 as the Match play runner up. Making it into the semi-finals and taking home $1500 was Zach Byrd and Rich Hanna playing his first GSGT event. Paul Brown, Ryan Tyndall, Jason Perry and Yoshio Yamamoto all made it to the quarter-finals and take home $1000.
Kyle Bradley shot a very impressive (-6) 66 even while bogeying the final hole of the consolation tournament and taking away the winner's check for $1000.
The GSPGT would like to thank Charlie Webster, Steve Clark, Lowell Counce, and the River Hills staff for making one our our biggest events possible this week. River Hills CC was in great condition and proved to be a great test for the players of the GSPGT.
