 Champion Zach Byrd
Three Time All
American and CCU standout Zach Byrd
wasted no time picking up his first win
as a professional. The 2009 CCU grad
chose the Grand Strand Golf Tour to
debut his entrance into the world of
professional golf. Playing a strong
field with Tony Parrish, Kellen Altman
and Ryan Tyndall , Zach's play was rock
solid. In the two day event Zach carded
a single bogie and 11 birdies to close
his second round with a
-3 under
69 for
a two day -10 under
134 total.
THE GSGT CONGRATULATES ZACH ON HIS WIN
Tony Parrish jumped 2 spots in the final
round to take second place after
-5 under
67. Tony
finished the event at --8
under 136.
Kellen Altman finished in 3rd place at
-7 under
and Ryan Tyndall takes 4th the final
position in the money.
