PGA GRADUATE BRENT DELAHOUSSAYE
The GSGT congratulates Brent Delahoussaye on his successful graduation to the PGA Tour.
Brent fired a final round
69 to make it thru the final stage of the PGA Q-School by a single shot. Brent's play
on the final day moved him from T32 to T23 where only the top 25 and ties are fully exempt on the 2010 PGA schedule.

Tony Parrish wins the event in a 3 hole play-off to end Zach Byrd's quest for his 4th victory
and Patrick Lundy's first. All three players finished tied after regulation play at -8 under 136.
Parrish, Byrd and Lundy headed back out on the course for a sudden death play-off to determine the

Zach Byrd has become the UNBEATABLE FORCE on the Grand Strand Golf Tour. Firing
a -6 under 66, Zach walks away with another victory. Making only one bogie
in his last three competitive rounds on the GSGT, Zach continues his
dominance and is rapidly gaining the respect of the veteran tour

Burning Ridge Pro Series

Zach Byrd make it two wins in a row firing a -5 under 67 to beat Tony Parrish by a single
stroke. Playing in the final group, Zach birdied the final 3 holes to complete a round
of 5 birdies and no bogie.
Parrish finished in 2nd at -4 under 68, Bone finished in 3rd with a -3 under 69 and Altman
takes the final position at -1 under 71.

SIMPLIFIED RULES &
POLICIES
The GSGT is in the process of simplifying our Rules and Policies to
be more aligned with the changes the Tour will make to attract more
players. The following is a change to the Pro-Series
Payout and Payment Policies.
Prize money for PRO-SERIES events will paid ON-SITE.
Payment to Pros will be cash or check as determined by the tour director. Amateurs
will receive gift certificates in the amount of their winnings up to the USGA
limitations to maintain amateur status.
PRO-SERIES PAYMENT POLICY:
1) Cash - Accepted up to 30 min prior to players
tee time.
2) Checks - LOCAL ONLY - Accepted 48 hours prior
to event.
3) Credit Cards - NOT ACCCEPTED for Pro-Series
Events.
Wild Wing Events in August Moved
to Burning Ridge
(7/13/09)
The Grand Strand Golf Tour has moved the Wild Wing events scheduled
for Aug 8th and Aug 11-12 across
the Hwy to Burning Ridge GC. The GSGT management was not able to
negotiate a reasonable contract agreement with the Wild Wing
Plantation management and the decision was made to move the events.
Both events will now be contested on the Burning Ridge Golf course
which is directly across the entrance to Wild Wing on Hwy 501.
